The Shrimpton Couture Archives
- Limited production piece from the Fall 2013 collection
- Under the creative direction of Maria Grazia Chiuri & Pierpaolo Piccioli
- Based on the original Fall 1968 looks that I have included here
- This famous print was inspired by the blue and white in Chinese vases. A Chanel dress from 1984 was in the MET's "China: Through the Looking Glass" exhibit and this dress is almost its twin.
- Strapless and hidden pockets on each hip
- Made out of a textured silk damask that has the blue embroidered directly into it so that it has a touch of texture and a 3-D effect on top of the silk underneath
- Built-in inner wired corset that zippers separately on its own and then the exterior of the dress zips over that
- The dress is new with tags and pristine
